FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I DON’T WEAR A LOT OF MAKEUP ON A DAILY BASIS… SHOULD I STILL HIRE A PROFESSIONAL FOR MY WEDDING?
Absolutely! You don’t have to wear a lot of makeup on your wedding day to look beautiful, it just needs to be applied correctly and with the appropriate products. If you don’t want to look too “made up” for your wedding, I can give you a very soft, natural bridal look. It is most important on this day that your makeup lasts, looks great in photos, makes you feel beautiful and is applied flawlessly to make you feel and look your best on this very special day. Q: WHAT TYPE OF PRODUCTS DO YOU USE? I use a variety of products including Temptu, Make Up For Ever, MAC, etc., as well as some you might not recognize that are formulated for HD film and TV. Q: SHOULD I GET FALSE LASHES? I use false lashes on about 95% of my clientele and they make a BIG impact! I usually use individual lashes, although strip are used for some occasions, and I can customize to each client’s preference wither that may be just a little added length and fullness or dramatic length and fullness. Either way, the result is a beautiful, natural look! Q: DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR STYLING SERVICES? I do provide hair styling services for weddings and I am more than happy to provide a list of stylists with whom we work closely who can do more elaborate styles if I I'm not free. |
Q: HOW LONG WILL A MAKEUP APPLICATION LAST?
The products I use are designed to last 12-16 hours with minimal to no touch-ups necessary. Most products are waterproof and many are suitable for HD film/TV and that means they will last throughout your entire day while still looking and feeling incredibly natural! Q: WHY IS AIRBRUSHED MAKEUP SO GREAT? I use airbrush makeup because it looks so natural, feels so light, and lasts so much longer than traditional foundation! It is applied with a fine mist of air, rather than being pushed into the skin, thus minimizing the appearance of skin texture and pores… the result is an extremely smooth, long-lasting finish. The products used as well as artistic technique has a substantial impact on how the resulting application will look. I am fully trained in airbrush makeup and use an HD film & television foundation that is designed to last 12 plus hours with minimal touch-up. Q. WHAT HAPPENS AT THE BRIDAL TRIAL? We will go over the details of your wedding and discuss what make-up, if any, you normally wear and any ideas you may have. It’s very common for a bride to not be sure of what style she would like for her wedding and that’s okay! I will work with you to create a look that you are 100% happy with and absolutely love! |

TIPS FOR THE BIG DAY
TRIAL
The best decision you can make for your wedding day, is to schedule a trial. Ideally, you don’t wanna try anything new the day of. Trials are a good opportunity to wear and test the products that seem more suitable for you.
I take notes and photos right after the trial to be able to re-create the same look on the day of your event. Please allow 1-2 hrs for your makeup or hair trial, and 2-3 hours for both makeup and hair.
HOW TO PREP
Hair
- Come with dry hair. Typically, hair texture is better with a day old hair, hair styles won't hold as well when the hair is freshly washed because it has to much movement. Shampoo your scalp and condition only the ends the day before, if you have oily scalp, shampoo twice. Try to use a light weight conditioner unless you are going for a sleek flat iron look.
- If you use a leave-in conditioner, serums or any hair styling products, let us know.
- Bring your veil, hair accessories and earrings,
Makeup
- Come with no makeup, no mascara. Wearing old mascara can totally ruin the look. I am very conscious when choosing the proper skin care for each client, keeping in mind everyone has different needs and that is the reason we carry products for dry, combination and oily skin. Using the right products will help your makeup stay on longer with out compromising the final look. Let us know if you have eyelash extensions or any skin allergies or sensitivities.
The client will have a detailed timeline so everyone will know the time of their appointment. Please have your guests bring inspiration images.
Can i schedule my trial on the day of my engagement photos
Absolutely! This will give you the change to wear your makeup and hair long enough to then decide if you would like to make any changes.
Airbrush makeup vs traditional makeup
Unlike traditional makeup, Airbrush Makeup is a gently, smooth and flawless makeup application that consist of spraying a fine mist of liquid foundation onto the skin through an airbrush gun, the look will be more of a matte finish. Traditional Makeup is press onto the skin with a makeup sponge to create a seamless look with a dewy or matte finish.
Products I use
We only use high end professional products. I use the same cosmetics as when I work on celebrities, this includes: high definition cosmetics that photograph flawless and seamless. All the lashes we use are 100% human hair. The cosmetics we use are long wear and if needed, waterproof.
How long will my makeup and hair last
Your makeup and hair should last all day, but please keep in mind that slight touch ups may be needed throughout your event, specially for outdoor and beach weddings in the summer and for runny, windy and humid days. Let us know if you will need touch ups throughout the event.
When should i book my trial and wedding day
Most clients reserve about a year prior to the event
